Larne Motor Club wishes to advise local residents, businesses and road users that temporary road closures will be in place for the running of the Cairncastle Hill Climb on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th June 2026.
Road Closure Times
Friday 26th June 2026
Road closed from 11:30am until 10:00pm (or earlier if the event concludes sooner)
Saturday 27th June 2026
Road closed from 8:00am until 7:30pm (or earlier if the event concludes sooner)
Roads Affected
Ballycoose Road / Feystown Road (C71) – from the junction with Drumnagreagh Road to the junction with Loughdoo Road.
Sallagh Road (C71) – from the junction with Ballycoose Road southwards for approximately 2 kilometres.
Important Information
During the road closure periods, access along the course will be restricted to event officials, emergency services and authorised vehicles. Diversion and advance warning signs will be in place.
